Victor Vasarely ja Tema Ühele Ühele Põhiline Geomeetriline Kunst

Victor Vasarely oli üks maailma suurimatest kunstnike vaatamata sellele, et ta ei olnud tuntud suuremate maastikutööde või portreekunstniku seas. Ta oli omanäoline kujundaja ja arhitektuuriline meistrilt ning tema töö keskendus täielikult geometrilisele abstraktsioonile – liikuvatel kujudel oli suur mõju kunstiloomingu maailmale. Tema looming jäi hiljemalt 1997. aastal surnuks, kuid tema kunst on tänapäevalgi väga hinnatud ja inspireeritud. Vasarely’ keskmine eluiga oli umbes 91 aastat ning ta elas oma kogu elu Pécsis, kus kasvõi suur osa tema töödest saadud inspiratsiooni.

• Sündinud: Károly Vaszary oli sündinud aastal 1906 Pécsis Austria-Ungari linnas (praegune Horvaatia).
• Edukus: Ta õppis esimest korda meditsiini Eötvös Loránd Ülikooli Budapestis, kuid loobuti sellest juba aasta hiljem ja püsis kunstnikuna.
• Kunstnike koolitus: Vasarely lõpetas aastal 1927 Podolini-Volkmann Akadeemia ning oli Sándor Bortnyik’ töökojas Műhely, kus õppis Bauhaus liikmega funktsionaalset kujundust ja geometrilist abstrakti.

Op Art ja Vasarely Ühele Ühele Põhiline Stilistik Vasarely oli üks Op Art liikmete hulgas – kunstilugema mõjutavate suurte kujunduste liikmeid, kes kasutasid optilisi ilmnemismeetodeid. Op Art püsis maailmas suurepäärselt vastu ka pärast Teist maailmasõda ning oli väga populaarne 1960-ndatel ja 1970-ndatel aastatel. Vasarely’ töö keskendus täielikult geometrilisele abstraktsioonile, kasutades suurte kujunduste loomiseks lihtsaid geomeetrilisi vorme nagu ruut ja kolmnurk ning nende kombinatsiooni. Ühele ühele Põhiline Stilistik oli väga oluline kunstilugema maailmale ning Vasarely oli selle liikmete hulgas üks tuntud meistreid.
