Two sailing vessels struggle against a heavy, churning sea. Grey waves rise in thick, whitecaps, their crests breaking with a visible, impasto texture. A single gap in the cloud cover allows a diffused light to touch the sails of the primary ship, casting a pale glow against the deep blue-grey water.
