The central figure is seated on a stone surface, with its back turned towards the viewer. This figure has a prominent skull-like head and is holding onto another figure who is facing forward. The second figure's body is twisted in an unnatural manner, with its limbs contorted around the first figure. The background of the painting is a muted orange color that gives the scene an eerie and otherworldly atmosphere.

Artistic Style and Influences

Zdislav Beksinski's work is characterized by its blend of surrealism and classical techniques. His use of light and shadow creates a sense of depth and dimensionality, while his attention to detail adds to the overall sense of realism. The painting Untitled is reminiscent of the works of other surrealist artists, such as Max Ernst and Helen Frankenthaler, who also explored the realm of the subconscious and the world of dreams.

• Surrealism is a key element in Beksinski's work, as seen in his use of unusual and fantastical imagery.
• The painting Untitled is also notable for its use of symbolism, with the figures and objects depicted carrying multiple meanings and interpretations.
