Kawabata Ryushi
Kawabata Ryūshi (1885-1966) was a prominent Nihonga painter known for his large-scale works, dragon motifs, and advocacy for public art. A key figure in the Taishō & Shōwa eras, he co-founded Seiryūsha and received the Order of Culture.
