Brinio is appointed commander by the Canine fanciers and raised on the shield. Brinio standing on a shield in the middle of a crowd, in the distance a burning castle. Third performance in a series of twelve scenes of the Batavier rebellion against the Romans (SK-A-421/432), purchased by the States General in 1613.
Otto van Veen (1556 – 1629)
Otto van Veen (1556-1629) bol významný flámsky maliar v období manerizmu a humanizmu. Známý ako učiteľ Petra Paula Rubensa, tvoril náboženské obrazy, alegorie a štúdiozne emblémy.
