[Image taken on June 25, 1889 at the Limeira Dam of part of the delegation responsible for examining the canalization works on the São Pedro river. The delegation comprised the then minister of agriculture Mr. Lourenço de Albuquerque; senators Christiano Ottoni and Barros Barreto; Dr. Francisco Bicalho, director of water supply in the then capital; Dr. Parreiras Horta, director of public works; Jeronymo de Moraes Jardim, inspector of public works; Pedro Gordilho, former deputy general; engineers José Imbuzeiro, Anysio Palhano, Marques Lisboa, Godofredo Silveira da Motta and Corrêa; Lieutenant Alexandre Vieira Leal; other guests and representatives of the press.]
