The delegation comprised the then minister of agriculture Mr. Lourenço de Albuquerque; senators Christiano Ottoni and Barros Barreto; Dr. Francisco Bicalho, director of water supply in the then capital; Dr. Parreiras Horta, director of public works; Jeronymo de Moraes Jardim, inspector of public works; Pedro Gordilho, former deputy general; engineers José Imbuzeiro, Anysio Palhano, Marques Lisboa, Godofredo Silveira da Motta and Corrêa; Lieutenant Alexandre Vieira Leal; other guests and representatives of the press.]
