Qatar Museums is a Qatari government entity that oversees the Museum of Islamic Art , Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, MIA Park, QM Gallery at Katara, ALRIWAQ DOHA Exhibition Space, the Al Zubarah World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, and archaeological projects throughout Qatar, as well as the development of future projects and museums that will highlight its collections across multiple areas of activity including Orientalist art, photography, sports, children's education, and wildlife conservation.
Ordsall Hall is a large former manor house in the historic parish of Ordsall, Lancashire, England, now part of the City of Salford, in Greater Manchester. It dates back more than 750 years, although the oldest surviving parts of the present hall were built in the 15th century. The most important period of Ordsall Hall's life was as the family seat of the Radclyffe family, who lived in the house for more than 300 years. The hall was the setting for William Harrison Ainsworth's 1842 novel Guy Fawkes, written around the plausible although unsubstantiated local story that the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 was planned in the house.
Since its sale by the Radclyffes in 1662 the hall has been put to many uses: a working men's club, a school for clergy, and a radio station among them. The house was bought by the old Salford Council in 1959 and opened to the public in 1972, as a period house and local history museum. The hall is a Grade I listed building, and entrance is free.

The Nottingham Industrial Museum is a volunteer-run museum situated in part of the 17th-century stables block of Wollaton Hall, located in a suburb of the city of Nottingham.
The museum won the Nottinghamshire Heritage Site of the Year Award 2012, a local accolade issued by Experience Nottinghamshire. The Museum collection closed in 2009 after Nottingham City Council withdrew funding, but has since reopened at weekends and bank holidays, helped by a £91,000 government grant , and run by volunteers. The museum contains a display of local textiles machinery, transport, telecommunications, mining and engineering technology. There is a display of cycles, motorcycles, and motor cars. There are examples of significant lace-making machinery. It also houses an operational beam engine, from the Basford, Nottingham pumping station.

Of a modern Scandinavian design, it was built between 1968-72 by Finnish architects Elissa and Alvar Aalto and Danish architect Jean-Jacques Baruël. It was completed on 8 June 1972.The museum has been termed a "showplace for 20th-century Danish and international art", as it showcases both domestic and international modern art collections. It is described as "strikingly contemporary in both form and content".

Sie wurde im Jahr 1887 gegründet und ist nach Walter Loomis Newberry benannt, der in seinem Testament die Hälfte seines Vermögens für die Einrichtung einer Bibliothek vorsah, sofern seine beiden Töchter ohne Nachkommen blieben. Dieser Fall trat tatsächlich ein, nachdem beide Töchter kinderlos in den 1870er-Jahren starben.

Die Neue Galerie ist ein Museum in Kassel. Das Gebäude liegt an der sogenannten „Schönen Aussicht“ zwischen Rathaus und Karlsaue. Die Neue Galerie zeigt Kunst vom 19. Jahrhundert bis zur Gegenwart mit dem Schwerpunkt Malerei.
Das als Gemäldegalerie errichtete Gebäude entstand in den Jahren von 1871 bis 1877 nach Plänen des Architekten Heinrich von Dehn-Rotfelser im Stil der Neorenaissance. Es beherbergte ursprünglich die Gemäldesammlung „Alte Meister“. Nach Zerstörungen im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde diese Sammlung in das Schloss Wilhelmshöhe verlagert. 1976 eröffnete die Neue Galerie mit neuem Konzept und unter ihrem heutigen Namen. Seit den 1960er Jahren wird das Gebäude auch als temporärer Ausstellungsort der documenta genutzt.

Located at 160 West Liberty Street in Reno, it is the only American Alliance of Museums accredited art museum in the state of Nevada. The museum has chosen a thematic approach, placing a special emphasis on human interaction with the land and the protection of nature in its collections and exhibitions. In 2003, the Museum moved into a new building designed by architect Will Bruder.
