The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block is an art museum and art education institution located in the Presidio District of downtown Tucson, Arizona. The museum comprises 74,000-square-feet of exhibition space over a four-acre city block that includes a contemporary main museum and 19th C. historic homes that have been adapted for reuse as the Museum restaurant, pottery school, and galleries. The Trondheim Art Museum has two venues, TKM Bispegata situated near the Nidaros Cathedral and TKM Gråmølna at Nedre Elvehavn. The main building in Bispegata 7 b was built in 1930 according to plans by architect Peter Daniel Hofflund. The Trondheim Art Museum was established in 1997, as a means to maintain the museum collection. The building has two floors with rooms of varied sizes and light. The building was refurbished in 2012, when artificial lights were installed to provide more stable temperature and lighting. Much of the interior was restored to its original state from 1930.
The Triton Museum of Art is a contemporary art museum located in Santa Clara, California. The museum was founded in 1965 in San Jose, California, by rancher, lawyer and art patron W. Robert Morgan and his wife June. It is the oldest non-university museum in Santa Clara County. Less than two years after its opening, the Triton Museum moved to its current location in Santa Clara, California. Exhibitions and programs were held in four pavilions surrounded by a seven-acre park. Due to the tremendous economic and population growth of the Santa Clara Valley during the 1970s, a new facility was built to serve the changing needs of the community. Construction for the current facility was completed in October, 1987. The 22,000 square-foot space features high ceilings, pyramidal skylights and dramatic lighting. The spacious design of the building was created for versatile exhibition presentation as well as an aesthetically pleasing experience for museum visitors. Das Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck, nach dem damaligen Kronprinzen Ferdinand , der das Protektorat übernahm, auch Ferdinandeum genannt, wurde 1823 unter dem Namen Tirolisches Nationalmuseum als Verein gegründet. Einer der Initiatoren war Erzherzog Johann. Das erste, ursprüngliche Museumsgebäude schuf 1842 bis 1846 der Innsbrucker Stadtbaumeister Anton Mutschlechner . Dieses wurde 1884–1886 erweitert und umgebaut. Es ist eines der fünf Häuser der Tiroler Landesmuseen.
Das Theatre Royal in Bath, England, wurde erbaut im Jahr 1805. Es wurde beschrieben als „eines der wichtigsten verbliebenen Beispiele georgianischer Theaterarchitektur“. Der Zuschauerraum verfügt über 888 Plätze. Der Bau des Theatre Royal ersetzte das Old Orchard Street Theatre , welches daraufhin schloss und zu einer katholischen Kirche umgewidmet wurde. Die Finanzierung erfolgte durch eine Tontine. Der Architekt war George Dance der Jüngere, zusammen mit dem ortsansässigen Architekten John Palmer. Zur Eröffnung wurde eine Aufführung von Shakespeares Richard III. gegeben. Dabei traten viele namhafte Mimen dieser Zeit auf: Dorothea Jordan, William Macready und Edmund Kean. Ein großes Feuer vernichtete 1862 den gesamten Innenraum des Gebäudes, jedoch wurde rasch der Wiederaufbau unter Leitung des Theaterarchitekten Charles J. Phipps durchgeführt. Er war es auch, der den heutigen Eingang konzipierte. Weitere Renovierungen und Umbauten in den Jahren 1892 und 1902 folgten, darunter ein neues Treppenhaus und die Installation elektrischen Lichts. Trotz Vorstellungen mit berühmten Darstellen wie Sarah Bernhardt, Anna Pawlowa und Mrs. Patrick Campbell war das Theater wenig profitabel. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs traten auch die Stars Donald Wolfit, Irene Vanbrugh, John Gielgud und Sybil Thorndike auf, mit Shows wie Noël Cowards Private Lives und Blyth Spirit, einer Aufführung der Rambert Dance Company und leichter Unterhaltung, wie Charleys Tante, gleichwohl sanken die Zuschauerzahlen. 1979 wurde das Theater von einem Trust gekauft und mit Spendengeldern renoviert. Eine neue Bühne wurde gebaut und ein neues Zugsystem für Kulissen und Licht installiert. 1997 wurde ein neues kleineres Theater mit 150 Sitzplätzen, das Ustinov-Studio, eröffnet. 2005 folgte das Kindertheater The Egg. 2010 gab es weitere Renovierungen des Zuschauerraums des Haupttheaters. Der Komplex beinhaltet auch Bars und Restaurants. Das Theatre Royal ist auch Gastgeber verschiedener jährlicher Veranstaltungen, wie Family Theatre Festival und das Shakespeare Unplugged Festival.

The Staffordshire Regiment Museum is a military museum in Staffordshire, England, preserving the history of the Staffordshire Regiment , its antecedent regiments and its successor regiment, the Mercian Regiment, from 1705 to the present. The Staffordshire Regiment was an Infantry regiment of the British Army, formed in 1959 by the amalgamation of the South Staffordshire Regiment and the North Staffordshire Regiment.The museum is adjacent to Whittington Barracks, the former home of The Staffordshire Regiment's antecedent regiments since 1881, and the current base for the Regimental Headquarters of The Mercian Regiment and the Defence Medical Services. It is located in Whittington, Staffordshire on the A51 Lichfield-Tamworth Road, 3 miles from Lichfield and 4 miles from Tamworth. The museum is 6 miles from the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire.

The museum holds collections of technological and historical artifacts associated with the work of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers , the corps of the British Army responsible for the maintenance, servicing and inspection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
The Keep, Dorchester is part of the former county barracks of the 39th Regiment of Foot and the 75th Regiment of Foot. The barracks were built in about 1880 and housed various regiments as units were amalgamated. It ceased to be used in 1958 and most of the site was redeveloped in the 1960s, but the keep remained in Ministry of Defence hands and is now used as a regimental museum. It is a Grade II listed building.

Es befinden sich hier Exponate aus jeder Epoche der amerikanischen Geschichte, u. a. 200 Quilts und Decken sowie Shaker-Möbel. Da Judkyn Quäker war, sind keine militärischen Gegenstände ausgestellt.
Taganrog Museum of Art was officially inaugurated in 1968, but the basis of the museum collection was formed by the end of the 19th century, when the art department of the Taganrog's city museum was established. Renowned playwright and short-story writer Anton Chekhov played a major role in establishing the collection of his home city through his connections in St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and his friends like Mark Antokolski etc. The most important part of the museum collection was formed in the Soviet Union time, and features two departments - Russian art before the Russian Revolution of 1917 and Soviet art. The whole collection of art was looted from the museum during the Occupation of Taganrog in 1941–1943. Since 1975, the museum of art is located at the former mansion of merchant Anton Handrin on Alexandrovskaya street 56.

The Sheldon Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute, Indiana, was originally funded by a bequest from Michael Sheldon Swope , a Civil War veteran and jeweler who lived in Terre Haute much of his adult life. Planning for the art museum began on September 26, 1939, and the museum was officially open to the public on March 21, 1942. According to its mission statement, "The Sheldon Swope Art Museum collects, preserves and celebrates the best in American art with programs and exhibitions designed to engage, stimulate and educate those whose lives it touches; it enhances the culture and contributes to the economic development of the Greater Wabash Valley."In addition to housing numerous important works, the Swope Art Museum offers summer classes for youth, artist lectures and exhibitions. It sponsors an annual student art exhibition, a tradition which began in May 1967. Admission to the museum is free.
