East Hertfordshire / Reino Unido

East Hertfordshire es un distrito no metropolitano ubicado en el condado de Hertfordshire . Fue constituido el 1 de abril de 1974 bajo la Ley de Gobierno Local de 1972 como una fusión del antiguo municipio de Hertford, los distritos urbanos de Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth y Ware, los distritos rurales de Braughing y Ware y parte de Hertford.[1]​ Según el censo de 2001 realizado por la Oficina Nacional de Estadística británica, East Hertfordshire tiene 128 919 habitantes y es el distrito más grande del condado con 475,69 km² de superficie.[2]​

Hertford Museum is a local museum in Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, England.The museum first opened in 1903 and is located in a 17th-century town house with a Jacobean-style knot garden. The galleries on the ground floor present the early history of the museum. Objects include exotic animals, fossils, and Japanese armour. The first floor presents the town and people of Hertford. The collections cover local, military, natural, and social history, as well as archaeology, fine art, and geology.The museum undertakes educational activities with schools. For example, Little Munden Primary School took part in a pilot project, working with the museum, to create an exhibition about their locality covering the period 1830–1930.The museum closed in Winter 2008 for major refurbishment, largely funded by a Heritage Grant from the UK Heritage Lottery Fund. It reopened on 27 February 2010.

All Saints' Church is in Queens Road, Hertford, Hertfordshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Hertford and Ware, the archdeaconry of Hertford, and the diocese of St Albans. It is the civic church of the town and of the county. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. It is the largest church in Hertfordshire, other than St Albans Cathedral, and can seat up to 1,000 people.
