Sèvres – Cité de la céramique is a French national ceramics museum located at the Place de la Manufacture, Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine, a suburb of Paris, France. It was created in January 2010, from the merger of the Musée national de Céramique-Sèvres and the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres. The museum is open daily except Tuesday; an admission fee is charged. Access to the museum by public transportation is available from Tramway d'Île-de-France station Musée de Sèvres on Tramway T2, and by Paris Métro station Pont de Sèvres on Line 9.

The Musée historique de la ville de Strasbourg is a museum in Strasbourg in the Bas-Rhin department of France. It is located in the Renaissance building of the former slaughterhouse and is dedicated to the tumultuous history of the city from the early Middle Ages until the contemporary period.
The Musée Georges-Garret or Georges-Garret Museum is located in the city of Vesoul, in the Haute-Saône departement of eastern France.
The museum was created in 1882, and since 1981 has been installed in a former 17th-century Ursuline convent, comprising 14 rooms spread over two levels. The first level of the museum presents a collection of Gallo-Roman funerary steles as well as objects taken from various excavations in Haute-Saône . The second level exhibits paintings and sculptures of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and especially the 18th and 19th centuries.
The most significant holdings of the museum are paintings and sculptures by Jean-Léon Gérôme , who was born in Vesoul. Gérôme donated a number of his works to the museum during his lifetime, and his heirs donated more works after his death. These range from the very early Saint Vincent de Paul of 1847 to the very late self-portrait of the artist painting his statue The Ball Player of 1902. As result, the museum's Gérôme collection, displayed in several rooms, is without equal.
Displayed along with Gérôme are by works of artists of Haute-Saône whom he trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, beginning in 1864. These artists collectively became known as the École Haut-Saônoise, or School of Haute-Saône. They painted landscapes, scenes of country life, and portraits. Among the better known are Gustave Courtois, Jules-Alexis Muenier and Pascal Dagnan-Bouveret.
The Musée Français de la Carte à Jouer is a museum of playing cards located at 16, rue Auguste Gervais, Issy-les-Moulineaux, a suburb of Paris, France. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays. An admission fee is charged.
The museum was established in 1986 based on the collections of Louis Chardonneret and Robert Thissen, and since 1997 has occupied its current location in the former Château d'Issy of the Princes of Conti.
It contains about 9000 objects, including nearly 6500 playing cards, 980 etchings, drawings, and posters, and more than other 1000 objects related to card games. It also presents temporary exhibitions. Other galleries tell the story of Issy-les-Moulineaux and the chateau of the Princes of Conti, the beginnings of aviation, and noted artists associated with Issy .
The museum won the 1999 European Museum of the Year Award.
The Château Ramezay is a museum and historic building on Notre-Dame Street in Old Montreal, opposite Montreal City Hall in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Built in 1705 as the residence of then-governor of Montreal, Claude de Ramezay, the Château was the first building proclaimed as a historical monument in Quebec and is the province's oldest private history museum. It was designated a National Historic Sites of Canada in 1949.Over the years, the Château changed owners and functions several times, with Ramezay's descendants selling the manor to the fur-trading Compagnie des Indes.
"Musée des Beaux Arts" is a poem written by W. H. Auden in December 1938 while he was staying in Brussels, Belgium, with Christopher Isherwood. It was first published under the title "Palais des beaux arts" in the Spring 1939 issue of New Writing, a modernist magazine edited by John Lehmann. It next appeared in the collected volume of verse Another Time , which was followed four months later by the English edition . The poem's title derives from the Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique in Brussels, famous for its collection of Early Netherlandish painting. Auden visited the Musée and would have seen a number of works by the "Old Masters" of his second line, including Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
The museum of fine arts and archeology of Dole was founded in 1821. Since 1980, the museum is installed in the House of the Officers, an example of military architecture of Franche-Comté at the 18th century.
