Кита́йская Респу́блика , — частично признанное государство в Восточной Азии, ранее имевшее однопартийную систему, широкое дипломатическое признание и контроль над всем Китаем, ныне превратившееся в демократическое государство с ограниченным дипломатическим признанием и контролирующее только Тайвань и прилегающие острова. Является одним из основателей ООН и ранее входила в Совет безопасности ООН . Китайская Республика признана 17 государствами — членами ООН , но фактически поддерживает отношения с большинством стран мира через свои представительства.

Chimei Museum

The Chimei Museum is a private museum established in 1992 by Shi Wen-long of Chi Mei Corporation in Rende District, Tainan, Taiwan. The museum's collection is divided into five categories: Fine arts ; Musical instruments; Natural history and fossils; Arms and armor; Antiquities and artifacts. The museum is known for housing the world's largest violin collection and for its significant collections of ancient weapons and sculptures. Forbes magazine, in its February 1996 article on private collectors in Asia, called the Chimei Museum "one of the world's most surprising art collections." The museum moved to its current venue on Wenhua Road in 2014, and it is open to the public except on designated days.

Taipei Fine Arts Museum

The Taipei Fine Arts Museum is a museum in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is in the Taipei Expo Park. The museum first opened on August 8, 1983, at the former site of the United States Taiwan Defense Command. It was the first museum in Taiwan built for contemporary art exhibitions. The architecture is a local interpretation of the Japanese Metabolist Movement, and the building was designed by architect Kao Er-Pan.
