Die römisch-katholische Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Salzburg ist der größte Kirchenbau aus fürsterzbischöflicher Zeit in der Altstadt rechts der Salzach. Sie gilt als bedeutendster Sakralbau der Stadt auf der rechten Salzachseite.
Das Down House ist das Wohnhaus, in dem Charles Darwin von 1842 bis zu seinem Tod mit seiner Frau und den Kindern lebte. Es befindet sich in der kleinen Gemeinde Downe der Grafschaft Kent südlich der britischen Hauptstadt London. Es wird als Museum genutzt, das über das Leben der Darwins und die Entstehung seiner Evolutionstheorie Auskunft gibt.
Dorsoduro ist ein Stadtteil von Venedig und liegt im südlichen Teil der Altstadt. Das Sestiere hat rund 15.586 Einwohner , davon entfallen 4.763 auf Giudecca und 1.535 auf Sacca Fisola, beides im Süden vorgelagerte Inseln. Die kleine Insel Sacca San Biagio westlich von Sacca Fisola ist unbewohnt. Der nördliche Hauptteil erstreckt sich über folgende Pfarreien , mit Sitz jeweils auf der gleichnamigen Insel :

Der Name leitet sich vom Zustand des Sestiere vor der Besiedlung ab. Dorso duro bedeutet harter Rücken und weist auf den Umstand hin, dass es sich um festen, teilweise felsigen Untergrund handelte, auf dem der Stadtteil errichtet worden ist. Zum Stadtteil Dorsoduro gehören auch die Inseln Giudecca mit den westlich vorgelagerten Inseln Sacca Fisola und Sacca San Biagio, während die östlich vorgelagerte Insel San Giorgio Maggiore zum Sesteriere San Marco gehört.
Dorsoduro zeichnet sich durch seinen Reichtum an sakralen und profanen Prachtbauten aus. Die Bauherren, Architekten und Baumeister konnten zwei lange Uferstreifen in der Stadt sowie einer auf der Giudecca und die Insel San Giorgio nutzen, um ihre Visionen zu verwirklichen.
Zu den schönsten Profanbauten des Viertels gehört der Palazzo Dario am Canal Grande, am Beginn des Rio delle Torreselle. Er wurde 1479 bei dem Architekten Pietro Lombardo in Auftrag gegeben und 1487 fertiggestellt. Während der Korpus im Stil der italienischen Gotik errichtet wurde, ist die Fassade auf der Kanalseite im Renaissance-Stil erbaut. Der Palazzo gilt als einer der charakteristischsten Paläste der Stadt.
Das Museum am Dom Trier ist ein Museum des Bistums Trier, das die Aufgabe hat, die Kultur- und Frömmigkeitsgeschichte des Bistums Trier zu erforschen und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Darüber hinaus erforscht das Museum die spätantiken Vorgängerbauten des Trierer Doms, der ältesten deutschen Bischofskirche.
Der St.-Kilians-Dom zu Würzburg oder Dom St. Kilian ist eine römisch-katholische Kirche in Würzburg, die dem Heiligen Kilian geweiht ist. Der Dom ist die Bischofskirche des Bistums Würzburg. Mit seiner Doppelturmfassade und einer Gesamtlänge von 105 Metern ist er das viertgrößte romanische Kirchengebäude Deutschlands und ein Hauptwerk deutscher Baukunst zur Zeit der salischen Kaiser.
Ursprünglich hatte der Dom ein Salvator-Patrozinium, von 855 bis um etwa 1000 war er dem heiligen Kilian geweiht, von etwa 1000 bis 1967 war der Apostel Andreas Dompatron, seit dem 6. Mai 1967 trägt der Dom das Patrozinium der Frankenmärtyrer Kilian, Kolonat und Totnan. Das Kirchweihfest der Kathedrale wird am 24. Oktober begangen.Der Dom St. Kilian ist die Pfarrkirche der Dompfarrei und der Domstiftspfarrei des Domkapitels.

Djanogly City Academy is a City Academy secondary school in Nottingham, England. It has been open since 2003, when it replaced the oversubscribed Djanogly CTC, a City Technology College, which was then independent from local authority control. The academy specialises in the use of ICT and has been awarded the ICT Mark.

Djanogly formerly operated on two sites – the 14–19 Centre in the old CTC building in Sherwood Rise, and the 11–14 Centre in a new building designed by Foster & Partners on the site of the former Forest Comprehensive School on Gregory Boulevard, opposite the Forest Recreation Ground. The Sherwood Rise site now accommodates the primary aged children. However, towards the end of the school year, year 11 students are accommodated here to study and take their gcse examinations.
The Dittrick Museum of Medical History is part of the Dittrick Medical History Center of the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. The Dittrick Medical History Center is dedicated to the study of the history of medicine through a collection of rare books, museum artifacts, archives, and images.
