The National Marine Aquarium is a marine aquarium located in the city of Plymouth, England, in Sutton Harbour, next to the Barbican and fishmarket. It was opened in May 1998, with charitable aims of research, education and conservation. It is the largest aquarium in the United Kingdom. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust
It is a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums .
