Mystic Seaport

Mystic Seaport Museum or Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea in Mystic, Connecticut is the largest maritime museum in the United States. It is notable for its collection of sailing ships and boats and for the re-creation of the crafts and fabric of an entire 19th-century seafaring village. It consists of more than 60 historic buildings, most of them rare commercial structures moved to the 19-acre site and meticulously restored.

国立公文書記録管理局(こくりつこうぶんしょきろくかんりきょく、英語: National Archives and Records Administration, NARA)は、アメリカ合衆国政府の書類と歴史的価値のある資料を保存する公文書館。米国連邦政府下の独立機関である。NARAには米議会の決議書、大統領の布告や行政命令、連邦行政規則集などを発行する義務がある。近年増えてきた一般市民の資料閲覧の監督、複写や現像などの複製サービスも行っている。また学者達が研究しやすいよう取り計らうのも役割の一つである。 保管所自体は全国に33箇所置かれており、本館と運営部門はワシントンD.C.にある。

The New Jersey State Museum is located at 205 West State Street in Trenton, New Jersey, overlooking the Delaware River, and serves a broad region between New York and Philadelphia. The museum's collections include natural history specimens, archaeological and ethnographic artifacts, and cultural history and fine art objects, and exhibitions, educational programs and research provide context for the collections. The museum, a division of the New Jersey Department of State, includes a 140-seat planetarium and a 384-seat auditorium.

Swope Art Museum

The Sheldon Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute, Indiana, was originally funded by a bequest from Michael Sheldon Swope , a Civil War veteran and jeweler who lived in Terre Haute much of his adult life. Planning for the art museum began on September 26, 1939, and the museum was officially open to the public on March 21, 1942. According to its mission statement, "The Sheldon Swope Art Museum collects, preserves and celebrates the best in American art with programs and exhibitions designed to engage, stimulate and educate those whose lives it touches; it enhances the culture and contributes to the economic development of the Greater Wabash Valley."In addition to housing numerous important works, the Swope Art Museum offers summer classes for youth, artist lectures and exhibitions. It sponsors an annual student art exhibition, a tradition which began in May 1967. Admission to the museum is free.

シラキュース大学(Syracuse University)は、アメリカ合衆国ニューヨーク州シラキュースにある私立大学である。SU(エス・ユー)と略される。 また、ニューヨーク州ユーティカ市にある「Utica College」は1946年にシラキュース大学により設立された教養学部中心の私立大学である。1998年からは大学院も設置され、独立した大学ではあるが、学部の卒業生はシラキュース大学の学位が授与される。 School of Management、Public Affairsのプログラムが全米1位にランキングされたMaxwell School、S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications(通称ニューハウス:ジャーナリズム、マスコミ、メディア関連)をはじめ、合計12のschoolがある。樹々や芝生に囲まれた緑豊かな自然と格調高い建物が調和した美しいキャンパスを誇り、学生数は18,247人(内、学部生12,268人、大学院生5,181人、ロースクール798人)。日本人学生は大学全体で50人程度在籍している。毎年卒業式には有名人がゲストとして迎えられる。 2020年度版のランキングではUSニューズ&ワールド・レポートで全米54位、THE世界大学ランキングで世界251–300位、QS World University Rankingsで世界581-590位と評価されている。

Triton Museum of Art

The Triton Museum of Art is a contemporary art museum located in Santa Clara, California. The museum was founded in 1965 in San Jose, California, by rancher, lawyer and art patron W. Robert Morgan and his wife June. It is the oldest non-university museum in Santa Clara County. Less than two years after its opening, the Triton Museum moved to its current location in Santa Clara, California. Exhibitions and programs were held in four pavilions surrounded by a seven-acre park. Due to the tremendous economic and population growth of the Santa Clara Valley during the 1970s, a new facility was built to serve the changing needs of the community. Construction for the current facility was completed in October, 1987. The 22,000 square-foot space features high ceilings, pyramidal skylights and dramatic lighting. The spacious design of the building was created for versatile exhibition presentation as well as an aesthetically pleasing experience for museum visitors. For more than 50 years, the Triton Museum of Art has been a destination for the community, providing a venue where local artists exhibit their work alongside regional and national artists, and where students of all ages learn about art and the creative process. Located across the street from the Santa Clara Civic Center, the Triton Museum of Art collects and exhibits contemporary and historical works with an emphasis on artists of the Greater Bay Area. Over 50,000 people attend the museum on-site annually, through its exhibitions, education and community programs, and over 90,000 people view the museum's satellite gallery and exhibitions annually. The museum is a nonprofit organization that is supported by contributions from its members and the wider community at large. Admission to exhibitions and many of our events is free; free parking. Tucson Museum of Art

The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block is an art museum and art education institution located in the Presidio District of downtown Tucson, Arizona. The museum comprises 74,000-square-feet of exhibition space over a four-acre city block that includes a contemporary main museum and 19th C. historic homes that have been adapted for reuse as the Museum restaurant, pottery school, and galleries. The Museum concurrently presents eight to nine exhibitions including international and traveling exhibitions, TMA-curated exhibitions, and ongoing exhibitions of permanent collections. TMA's collection of more than 8,000 objects is focused on modern and contemporary art, Latin American, Western and Native American, and Asian art. The Museum has served as a community art education venue since its inception in 1924. Art education has continued as a major function of the Museum through museum staff and a docent organization that carries out education and outreach programs. The Museum's campus of landscaped plazas host community and private events including artisans markets, festivals, live performances, an annual Día de los Muertos event, weddings, high school proms, award ceremonies, and other community events. The Museum hosts Creative Space, an interactive space for children and families.
