Randers Municipality is a municipality in Region Midtjylland on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 748.21 km², and has a population of 96,559 . Its mayor as of 1 January 2014 is Claus Omann Jensen, a member of Venstre. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Randers. The municipality is part of Business Region Aarhus and of the East Jutland metropolitan area, which had a total population of 1.378 million in 2016.

Randers Museum of Art is a Danish art museum in Randers in northeastern Jutland, Denmark. The museum is located in the cultural centre of Kulturhuset in the town centre and displays many of the major works of Danish painters, especially those of the 19th and 20th centuries.
