Forde House, now also known as Old Forde House, is a Grade I listed Jacobean former manor house in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. It was built in c. 1610 and is noted for its fine 17th-century wood-carving and plasterwork. Once the manor house of the parish of Wolborough, it is now absorbed into a suburb of Newton Abbot. The south front is clearly visible from the busy Brunel Road which cuts across the house's front lawn.

Situata nel sestiere di Dorsoduro, si affaccia sul Canale della Giudecca e lo costeggia per la quasi totalità della sua lunghezza, con un percorso lungo all'incirca un chilometro che inizia a ridosso della Stazione Marittima a San Basilio e arriva fino alla Punta della Dogana, dove il Canale della Giudecca sfocia nel Bacino di San Marco.

Il Fitzwilliam College è uno dei collegi costituenti l'Università di Cambridge, spesso soprannominato dagli studenti come Fitz. È stato fondato inizialmente nel 1869 sotto forma di luogo di residenza per studenti che non appartenevano a nessun collegio, senza che venisse considerato un collegio vero e proprio, di fronte al Fitzwilliam Museum di Cambridge. Nel 1966 venne riconosciuto ufficialmente come college, e spostato nella sua attuale posizione in cima a Castle Hill, nel nord della città.
Felbrigg Hall is a 17th-century English country house near the village of that name in Norfolk. Part of a National Trust property, the unaltered 17th-century house is noted for its Jacobean architecture and fine Georgian interior. Outside is a walled garden, an orangery and orchards. The house and grounds were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Ketton-Cremer. The hall is Grade I on the National Heritage List for England. Most of the grounds are part of Felbrigg Woods, a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Nel XIX secolo ci furono battaglie legali contro la privatizzazione dell'area, che si risolsero nel 1878 quando il Parlamento del Regno Unito ne assegnò la proprietà e la conservazione alla Città di Londra.Al suo interno si trova Gilwell Park, uno dei luoghi più importanti dello scautismo. Nato nel 1919 come centro di formazione capi, può ospitare fino a 10.000 persone.
