La battaglia di Kursk, in tedesco nota col suo nome in codice di Unternehmen Zitadelle , in russo: Битва под Курском?, traslitterato: Bitva pod Kurskom , Курская битва, Kurskaja bitva , битва на Курской дуге bitva na Kurskoj duge , si svolse nel quadro della terza offensiva estiva sferrata dai tedeschi il 5 luglio 1943 sul fronte orientale durante la seconda guerra mondiale e nella quale avvenne la più grande battaglia di mezzi corazzati della storia.
Lo scontro vide opporsi le forze tedesche della Wehrmacht, integrate da quattro divisioni delle Waffen-SS, e dell'Armata Rossa sovietica e si risolse, dopo dieci giorni di violenti combattimenti, con un'importante vittoria delle forze sovietiche, che vanificò il successo tedesco, precedentemente ottenuto nella terza battaglia di Char'kov, e consegnò definitivamente l'iniziativa delle operazioni sul fronte orientale all'Armata Rossa.

The Berlin Art Library is an agency of the Berlin State Museums under the auspices of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. It has approximately 400,000 volumes and ranks among Germany's leading institutions specializing in the literature of Art History. The library is located on the Kulturforum in Berlin-Tiergarten, Germany and attracts 35,000 visitors annually.The Library also has a comprehensive photographic collection. Its holdings date back to the very early days of photography, through Pictorialism around the late 19th and early 20th centuries, through the Neues Sehen or New Vision of the 1920s, to the new artistic styles of the present day. Since June 2004, the collection has held exhibitions under the same roof as the Helmut Newton Foundation at the Museum of Photography opposite the Zoologischer Garten station. After a complete restoration of the Kaisersaal, the Art Library Photographic Collection now has its own exhibition space.
Selections of works from the library's many other collections are regularly presented in special exhibitions. The neighboring Kupferstichkabinett Berlin concentrates primarily on fine art drawings and prints. The Art Library does not circulate, but its collections can be viewed upon request in the Art Library's study room.
Il Kulturforum è un complesso di edifici culturali di Berlino, sito nel quartiere del Tiergarten.

Kendal Museum is a local museum in Kendal, Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District in northwest England. It was founded in 1796 and includes collections of local archaeology, history, and geology, and a natural history collection from around the globe. The museum has a large natural history taxidermy collection, and features a stuffed polar bear and a model of a dodo.

Il Kellogg College è il 36° collegio costituente l'Università di Oxford, ed uno dei più estesi ed internazionalizzati; poiché i suoi membri, divisi tra studenti e associati, provengono da circa 70 diversi Paesi del mondo. È stato aperto nel 1990 e ufficialmente riconosciuto dall'Università nel 1994, il che lo rende anche il collegio più recente se si esclude l'unione del Green Templeton College avvenuta nel 2008. È uno dei sette collegi di Oxford riservato ai graduate students , cioè coloro che abbiano già conseguito una laurea, e accoglie più di 700 studenti, distribuiti fra residenziali e non residenziali .

Kungsträdgården è il nome di un parco e di una stazione della metropolitana, entrambi situati nella parte centrale di Stoccolma.
All'interno del parco sono presenti numerosi café e luoghi di ristoro, essendo un popolare punto di ritrovo per la popolazione. A testimonianza di ciò, durante la stagione estiva vengono spesso svolti concerti estivi all'aperto, mentre in inverno viene allestita una pista di pattinaggio. Inoltre, il 1º maggio il Partito della Sinistra organizza qui il suo tradizionale congresso.

La fontana di Wolodarski, recente opera inaugurata nell'agosto 1998All'inizio degli anni '70 una forte protesta a tutela degli olmi del parco ha fatto rivedere i piani di costruzione per l'omonima stazione della metropolitana, le cui entrate si trovano oggi ai due lati est e ovest.
La stazione di Kungsträdgården rappresenta inoltre il capolinea e/o il punto di partenza per quanto riguarda il percorso della linea blu. T-Centralen, la stazione principale del sistema cittadino, è invece localizzata ad una fermata di distanza da qui.
Il Kungstradgarden non è propriamente un giardino o un parco, si tratta piuttosto di una via alberata molto frequentata specialmente in occasione di manifestazioni e spettacoli all'aperto.
