Perm Museum of Contemporary Art ) is an art gallery in Perm, Perm Krai, Russia, that officially opened in spring 2009. It holds changing exhibitions, festivals, artist talks, lectures, workshops, concerts and performances. It is housed in a former tram depot at 24 Gagarina Boulevard. Yelena Petrova is its director.Perm Museum of Contemporary Art was devised by and is the legacy of its former founder, director and curator Marat Gelman. Gelman was sacked in June 2013 amid fallout over showing Vasily Slonov's exhibition Welcome! Sochi 2014 that satirised the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Before this, in 2010, the Financial Times praised PERMM as "one of the most spectacular galleries of modern art in Russia."PERMM, Perm State Art Gallery and Perm Krai Museum are situated close to each other and form a museum complex. The museum was previously housed in the former Stalinist ferry building, known as the Perm River Station Hall on the banks of the Kama River but had to move as the building was unsafe.
The Old Schools are part of the University of Cambridge, in the centre of Cambridge, England. The Old Schools house the Cambridge University Offices, which form the main administration for the University.The building is Grade I listed. It is two storeys high with ashlar facing and a parapet above. Within the Old Schools are West Court and Cobble Court.
The Old Schools building is located at the end of Trinity Lane and is surrounded by other historic University and College buildings. To the north is Gonville and Caius College.
To the east is the University of Cambridge Senate House where degree ceremonies are held, on King's Parade. To the south, the scene is dominated by the large King's College Chapel. To the west are Trinity Hall and Clare College.
The Old Schools Site covers the Old Schools, the Senate House, and Great St Mary's, the University Church.

The New Haven Museum and Historical Society was founded in 1862 in New Haven, Connecticut for the purposes of preserving and presenting the region’s history. The museum has a collection containing art, photography, furniture and other artifacts from throughout New Haven’s history and regularly presents programs and special exhibits.The Museum features exhibitions on New Haven, La Amistad, local art and decorative arts, with collections associated with Eli Whitney, Winchester, Yale, East Rock, Noah Webster, Benedict Arnold as well as changing exhibitions. Educational programs provide interactive inquiry-based learning on local history.The Whitney Research Library at the museum contains manuscript and archival holdings relevant to the New Haven area from the time of the first settlement to the present. The collection includes rare books, more than 300 manuscript collections, including personal papers, business and institutional records, court and municipal documents, maps, 4,000 architectural drawings and resources, account books and a collection of approximately 75,000 photographs. It also contains approximately 30,000 printed titles including monographs and pamphlets. The library also includes genealogical materials, vital statistics and colonial and town records, passenger arrival lists to American ports, Federal census schedules for New Haven County on microfilm and a complete set of New Haven city directories from 1840.The Colonial revival style current building was built in 1929 and was designed by J. Frederick Kelly. The building includes a number of artifacts from demolished New Haven houses including a mantelpiece and urns from the Nathan Smith house and a mantelpiece from the Benedict Arnold house. The Ingersoll Room in the museum is decorated with furniture and portraits from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries documenting the home and life of New Haven’s Ingersoll family.
Speke Hall is a wood-framed wattle-and-daub Tudor manor house in Speke, Liverpool, England. It is one of the finest surviving examples of its kind. It is owned by the National Trust and is a Grade I listed building.

Il Museo fondato nel 1982 è ubicato dove anticamente sorgeva l'Ospedale di San Andrea gestito dai Gesuiti a partire dal 1625 fino alla loro espulsione avvenuta nel 1767.
Il palazzo che oggi conosciamo fu voluto da Porfirio Díaz nel 1901 per ospitare la sede della Segreteria di Comunicazione e delle Opere Pubbliche. Il progetto fu affidato all'architetto italiano Silvio Contri che ideò l'edificio seguendo lo stile architettonico dell'epoca, ossia il Modernismo. Tutte le decorazioni del palazzo furono incaricate alla casa artistica della famiglia fiorentina Coppedè.
Inaugurato nel 1911, vista l'eleganza e la versatilità del palazzo venne successivamente utilizzato come sede dell'Archivio Generale Nazionale. Solo nel 1982 divenne definitivamente la sede del Museo Nazionale di Arte.
Nel 1997 il Consiglio Nazionale per la Cultura e le Arti in collaborazione con il patronato del museo diedero il via ad un progetto di restauro e riammodernamento dello spazio museale, così da garantire una miglior esposizione delle opere d'arte conservate. Riaperto nel 2000 con il nome di MUNAL esibisce studia e diffonde testimonianze dell'arte messicana a partire dall'epoca tardo-preispanica fino ad arrivare ad esempi di arte del XX secolo.
Il Museo dell'Opera del Duomo di Prato è stato fondato nel 1967 in alcuni ambienti del Palazzo Vescovile ed ampliato in più tempi per ospitare opere provenienti dalla Cattedrale di Santo Stefano e dal territorio diocesano. L'ingresso è ubicato in piazza duomo alla base del campanile.

La Certosa di Miraflores è un complesso monastico costruito a circa 3 km dalla città di Burgos . Fu fondata nel 1441 dal re Giovanni II di Castiglia grazie alla donazione che egli fece di un suo palazzo di caccia. I lavori furono affidati a Juan de Colonia e furono terminati dopo la morte di costui, dal figlio Simon de Colonia, grazie soprattutto agli incentivi arrivati da Isabella di Castiglia, detta la Católica, figlia di Giovanni II.
Perla del tardo gotico, con vetrate fiamminghe e navata unica, la chiesa si presenta con il suo retablo di legno policromatico e l'impressionante complesso di sepolcri, opera dell'artista Gil di Siloé: quello dei re Giovanni II di Castiglia e Isabella di Portogallo; nel centro della navata, a forma di stella, e quello dell'infante Alfonso, nella parete laterale, entrambi in alabastro.
Gli stalli del coro de los Hermanos sono rinascimentali, mentre nel coro de los Padres sono gotici.
Il retablo del XV secolo di G. de Siloé e D. de la Cruz ha statue e bassorilievi raffiguranti la vita di Cristo e, nei riquadri in basso, il re Giovanni II guidato da Giacomo il Maggiore e la regina Isabella con la sua santa protettrice. Rilevanza hanno anche le poltrone in stile gotico del Coro de los Padres, di Simon de Bueras. In una delle cappelle laterali si trova esposta la scultura rappresentante San Bruno, fondatore dell'ordine certosino, realizzata da Manuel Pereira. Si può contemplare anche l'Annunciazione di Pedro Berruguete. In conseguenza della Desamortización scomparve il culto, fino a che l'arcivescovo di Burgos Anastasio Rodrigo Yusto ristabilì l'ordine.

The McNay Art Museum, founded in 1954 in San Antonio, is the first modern art museum in the U.S. state of Texas. The museum was created by Marion Koogler McNay's original bequest of most of her fortune, her important art collection and her 24-room Spanish Colonial Revival-style mansion that sits on 23 acres that are landscaped with fountains, broad lawns and a Japanese-inspired garden and fishpond.
McNay was an American painter and art teacher who inherited a substantial oil fortune upon the death of her father. The museum was named after her, and has been expanded to include galleries of medieval and Renaissance artwork and a larger collection of 20th-century European and American modernist work. She built a home in 1927 designed by Atlee Ayres and his son Robert M. Ayres. Upon her death, the house was bequeathed to the City of San Antonio to house the museum.The museum focuses primarily on 19th- and 20th-century European and American art by such artists as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, Georgia O'Keeffe, Diego Rivera, Mary Cassatt, and Edward Hopper. The collection today consists of over 20,000 objects and is one of the finest collections of contemporary art and sculpture in the Southwestern United States. The museum also is home to the Tobin Collection of Theatre Arts, which is one of the premiere collections of its kind in the U.S., and a research library with over 30,000 volumes. More recently, the McNay Art Museum recently added the Stieren Center, built by internationally renowned architect Jean-Paul Viguier, to display their Modern collection.
